Who all got out to enjoy the beautiful day on Saturday? I did! It almost felt like summer, a bit humid towards the later part of the day. Just wished the sun would have stayed out a bit longer. If you haven't been to Carley State Park, I suggest you make a trip there. You can hike, fish, camp or do it all. The drive there alone was beautiful with the rolling hills.

The hike takes you through the winding North Fork Whitewater River. With trails bringing you up and down the hillside that surrounds it. There were patches of wild flowers throughout but about half way on our hike we found a large field of bluebells. It was like a fairytale. It wasn't all that busy when we were there in the later part of the afternoon. Very quiet with many places to stop and rest and just take in the view.
